The marquee lights are back on at the Tower Theatre and preparations are underway to soon reopen the landmark as a venue for live music, movies and plays.

Scott Marsh, chief operations officer at Levelland Productions, is planning a “soft opening” by early April for the venue while the adjoining two-story Savings & Loan Bar is set to open later this month.

“Everything is looking beautiful in terms of the build-out; we've had very few hiccups,” Marsh said. “We're going to start getting the sound part lined up next. When we open, we're going to have a large opening show. But before that, we will be doing some sort of soft opening for the public to get in, see it and also promote local music.”
