The Oklahoman

Two major developments — an upscale hotel and an eight-story garage — are set to move forward this year in the heart of Bricktown.

Plans are set to be presented next week for the parking garage, which is to be built by Don Karchmer, a veteran Bricktown developer whose work in the district dates back 30 years.

Karchmer was unavailable for comment Tuesday, but plans provided to the city show the 664-space garage on the southwest corner of Oklahoma and Sheridan avenues will consist of one subterranean level and seven floors above ground. The garage is designed to accommodate 16,000 square feet of retail facing Sheridan Avenue.

Renderings show outdoor patios along Sheridan Avenue with garage egress off of Oklahoma Avenue.
