OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma City was listed as a finalist for three NCAA championship events on Wednesday when the NCAA announced the host site finalists for the final round of 81 of its 89 championships for the 2014-2018 championship sessions.
Tulsa and Norman were selected as site finalists for one event each.
Oklahoma City is a finalist for the Division I Wrestling Championships, DII Softball Championship and Division III Softball Championship, according to the Oklahoma City All Sports Association.
The Wrestling Championships would be at Chesapeake Energy Arena and the two softball championships would be at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium.
