On almost every weekend throughout the year, art, entertainment, food and local music are featured in one of Oklahoma City's eclectic districts. Whether it's the first weekend of the month or the last, you're sure to find a festival happening somewhere in the city! Below is what you can find each weekend in OKC:

First Thursday: Western Avenue's On the Lawn
From April to September on the first Thursday of the month, Western Avenue hosts On the Lawn. This family-friendly celebration offers activities for kids, live music, food from restaurants on Western Avenue, inflatables and opportunities to benefit local charities.

First Friday: Paseo's First Friday Gallery Walk
The Paseo Arts District hosts the First Friday Gallery Walk, a monthly "open house" on the first Friday and the Saturday of the month for the more than 20 galleries, and more than 60 artists in the district. In addition to the gallery walk, some of the district's best restaurants, including Paseo Grill and Picasso's Cafe, offer live music and special menu items.

Second Friday: Plaza's LIVE on the Plaza
In the fun and funky Plaza District, enjoy LIVE on the Plaza on the second Friday of every month. The event is an art walk, but local businesses, including restaurants and retail stores, stay open late. Vendors set up tables and booths along the district, selling handmade items, vintage clothing, art and many other products. Street entertainers, live music and some of the metro's best people watching make this an energetic event for all ages.

Third Thursday: Automobile Alley's Shop Hop
On the Third Thursday of every month, cruise historic Automobile Alley for open house events at local shops, extended shopping hours at retailers offering discounts, freebies and giveaways, live music, street artists and performers, kids' activities and great food from Auto Alley restaurants.

Third Friday: Premiere on Film Row
Premiere on Film Row follows Shop Hop on the third Friday of every month. The event runs from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. and features food trucks, classic movies at The Paramount, music, art exhibitions and activities for all ages.

Last Friday: H&8th Night Market & Industry Flea
H&8th, the largest food truck event in the nation, happens on the last Friday of the month (March through October). Short for Hudson Avenue & NW 8th, the intersection where the event started in OKC's Midtown district, H&8th now offers more than 40 food trucks, local beer and live music. Just up the street at the corner of 10th & Hudson Avenue is the newest addition to the festival, Industry Flea. This shopping area features local shops the weekend of H&8th, allowing patrons to eat and shop at OKC's most popular stores.

Last Sunday: Uptown 23rd's Sunday Funday
Rounding out the monthly festival calendar is Sunday Funday in Uptown 23rd, which runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and features live music, fun brunch options and discounts at participating businesses.

So no matter what weekend you come to town, OKC has a district event for you to enjoy!
