Lyric's A Christmas Carol

The spectacular Oklahoma holiday tradition is back with Lyric's production of Charles Dickens' classic, A CHRISTMAS CAROL. Before the show, be sure to check out the Plaza District's local restaurants and shops.

Downtown in December
Through February 2
Downtown in December, presented by Devon, is a series of holiday events and attractions in the heart of Oklahoma City. It's a one-of-a-kind winter experience that features thrilling outdoor ice skating, snow tube rides down a 150-foot slope, and free water taxi excursions, all surrounded by twinkling holiday lights. Most events are free of charge and there is an open invitation for all to attend.

Opening Night

Ring in the New Year at Opening Night - OKC's favorite family-oriented New Year's Eve celebration. Opening Night takes place in ten venues downtown, with 16 stages full of the state's best talent - beginning at 7 p.m. Stake your claim in the Myriad Gardens by 11:30 p.m. to enjoy the finale show and fireworks that will officially launch 2014!

Thunder Game

What better way to start ringing in the New Year in true Oklahoma City fashion than at an OKC Thunder game at Chesapeake Energy Arena. Watch the Thunder take on the Portland Trail Blazers before heading out to Kevin Durant's New Year's Eve party at the Chevy Bricktown Events Center.
