Independence Day celebrations have already begun in OKC, with the SandRidge Stars and Stripes River Festival kicking things off this past weekend. Here's a breakdown of other events happening around town throughout the week!

On July 3, OKC has you covered with fireworks and fun at two different spots: OKC Philharmonic's Red, White & Boom and the Oklahoma City Redhawks' Independence Day Celebration. Red, White & Boom will take place at State Fair Park, where you can enjoy a concert by the OKC Philharmonic and watch a firework show to cap off the night. The grounds open at 6:30pm and the concert begins at 8:30pm, with fireworks to follow. And it's FREE for the whole family.

The Redhawks' Independence Day celebration at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark will include an action-packed baseball game followed by some awesome fireworks. You really can't get more all-American than that!

Celebrations continue on the 4th of July at the Bricktown 4th Fest. Trust us; it's where you'll want to be. Live music starts at 4:30 on the corner of Sheridan and Oklahoma and continues all evening long. Fireworks begin at 9:30, so be sure to find your viewing spot before then!

Here's the music line-up to catch a peek at who you'll be listening to:

4:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. - The Kamals

5:15 p.m.-6:15 p.m. - Chateau

6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. - Beat Street

8:00 p.m.- 9:30 p.m. - Hosty Duo

10:00 p.m.-11:45 p.m. - Taddy Porter

Whether you've been celebrating since last Friday or will start this week, OKC has lots of Independence Day festivities taking place. Now plan out your holiday week, catch some fireworks shows and have a great time celebrating the 4th of July in OKC!
