Valentine's Day is this Saturday and love is in the air. Raise your hands if your significant other makes you feel beautiful, strong, and like you are ready to take on the world this Valentine's Day. Oh wait, that's wine. Wine does that. Now that you have your cheese, you are ready for some of that wine that is available right in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City. Let me tell you, this place is more than worthy of your love.

Located on Broadway and 6th in Automobile AlleyWaters Edge Winery offers an urban location with a rustic and modern edge on the inside. The atmosphere is very warm and casual with beautiful art and large windows looking out to the bustle of Broadway and the modernized historical district. The interior is accommodating for groups of socializing friends, large groups in celebration, or those two romantic lovebirds looking to enjoy each other's company (and wine) for the evening.

My favorite part about the winery is, of course, the wine. Not only does Waters Edge have those classic Pinots, Merlots, and Chardonnays, but they also have a generous selection of fruit, dessert, and bubbly drinks with creative titles that make it look like I know what I'm talking about when I make my selection. My personal favorites are what they call Son-of-a-Peach and Grape Anatomy. The Son-of-a-Peach is a chardonnay and is very crisp and refreshing and a fun pop of yumminess. The Grape Anatomy fills your insides with blueberry goodness and is soothing, delicious, and rich. These are just two fun selections they have on the menu at Waters Edge. Wine can be purchased and served by the bottle or by the glass and delectable h'ordeurves are also available to snack on as you drink.

Waters Edge allows customers to create their own fun label for a purchased bottle of wine which is great for fun parties or gifts. You can even create and customize the inside of the bottle as you build your wine from the vine up.

Overall, this little OKC treasure chest is such a fun and unique place that helps keep this city trendy and diverse. Everything about it will leave you feeling warm, happy, hip, and romantic and like you are the wine connoisseur of the century. The wine, of course, also helps you feel like this. Make sure you check it out this February!
