23rd Annual Chuck Wagon Gathering and Children's Cowboy Festival

  • From: May 25, 2013 - May 26, 2013 (Every Sunday, Saturday)
  • Venue: National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum
  • Times: From: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Location: National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum
  • Address: 1700 N.E. 63rd St., Oklahoma City, OK 73111
  • Phone: 405-478-2250

Given the storm destruction across central Oklahoma and heavy rains in the days afterward, the 23rd Annual Chuck Wagon Gathering & Children's Cowboy Festival is moving indoors. It will proceed as scheduled Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26, with activities being held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the Museum remaining open until 5 p.m. both days.

The children's educational hands-on activities and Western stage entertainment will occur indoors. Regretfully, the Dutch oven cooking will not take place.

Parking is recommended in the Museum's main parking lot, with overflow parking and free shuttles available from Remington once Museum lots have reached capacity.

In addition, the festival pricing will revert to regular Museum admission rates. Given the programming changes, valid coupons and passes will be accepted for the 2013 festival. Museum members always enjoy free admission.

Remember, through May 24, enjoy $10 off The Cowboy Family Membership, discounted to $65 and providing year-round admission for up to six people. Purchase online or by calling (405) 478-2250, Ext. 251.
