Paseo Arts District

Historically, much of Oklahoma City's art identity has been located in the Paseo Arts District, a small neighborhood just north of downtown with nearly 80 working artists and 20 studios, all of which present new collections on the first Friday of every month during an art walk even winter months. Since the redevelopment of the urban core, though, visual arts are springing up all around downtown, both in the Arts District and in surrounding districts.

Three circles filled with Paseo Arts District photos. First photo is of women shopping in the district. The second photo is the icon for the Paseo Arts District. The third and final photo is of the crowd at the Paseo Arts Festival.

Embrace Your Inner Artist

The Paseo is full of local businesses that express themselves through goods and services, from painting and ceramics to books and food. Whether you want to add to your art collection or brush up on your own artistic skills, this district will act as your muse and provide all the inspiration you need.

Rub Elbows with the Locals at Paseo's Bars and Restaurants

The Paseo is surrounded by neighborhoods on all sides, so it makes sense that this district offers some of Oklahoma City’s favorite local hangouts. Be sure to check out the Paseo Grill, Picasso Café, the Oso, Scratch and Sauced, just to name a few. View the full list of restaurants in the Paseo here.

Explore Paseo During the First Friday Gallery Walk

Want to experience the best the district has to offer all at the same time? First Friday Gallery Walk happens (you guessed it) on the first Friday of each month. Opening receptions for featured artists and a fun street scene await you at one of the oldest art walks in Oklahoma City.
