Guys Outing

Guys are notoriously bad at making plans and usually hate asking for advice or directions. So, when it comes to “Guys Night,” having a roadmap curated by a friend who lives in downtown is a godsend for many men. If you’re looking for some of the hottest spots in Oklahoma City for dudes to chill, grab a beer and have a good time, this list will make you the hero with your buddies.

Lets break down a few options:

Midtown 16:5

Midtown

Before you meet the guys, swing by Opolis Clothing Company and grab some new OKC Thunder gear. When done, stroll across the street to grab a COOP F5 or any of their other local beers from McNellies with the fellas. When it’s time for dinner, head around the bend to Fassler Hall for a bratwurst and duck fries. Since Dust Bowl is just downstairs, make plans to bowl a few games and show off your Big Lebowski skills. Finish off the night at R&J Lounge. Their Old Fashioned is one of the best in OKC, and their vibe is super chill.

Film Row

If you’re looking for a low-key Guys Night, then Film Row is a great option. Start your night off at Mary Eddy’s in the lobby of the 21C Hotel. Their craft cocktails and attention to detail are incredible. Next, head over to Joey’s Pizzeria to fill your belly with a pie and a beer (or two). We recommend the toasted ravioli or buffalo wings to start and The Surfer Dude pizza. When done, mosey a few blocks down to Flashback RetroPub. This 80s-themed arcade bar will let you challenge your buddies to games of Off Road, Street Fighter, TRON or even a MarioKart competition on their big screen TV. Plus, since they stock a wide variety of local brews, you’re sure to find a tasty beverage you’ll love. End the evening on the patio of Flint and take in the sights and sounds of downtown OKC.
