OKLAHOMA CITY – December 12, 2017 – AC Hotel Bricktown, a design-led European lifestyle hotel from AC Hotels® by Marriott, is due to open Friday, December 22, bringing sophisticated style to Oklahoma City. Designed with creative, well-traveled, entrepreneurial spirits in mind, AC Hotel Bricktown will cater to those who are constantly on the go through its innovative beverage & food programming, intuitive service, locally inspired art and modern guest rooms.

The AC Lobby will feature the brand’s signature open-concept spaces with a thoughtfully selected collection of inviting furnishings and décor that evokes the feeling of a well-curated art gallery. Ambient lighting and cozy seating areas will invite travelers and locals to relax in chic surroundings, while also creating an effortless space in which to conduct a business meeting or connect with friends over cocktails. To facilitate frictionless service, Kallpods, wireless service buttons, are provided in the public and meetings spaces — enabling guests to immediately request a staff member’s attention.


A twist on the traditional hotel bar, the AC Lounge is expected to add to the city’s growing food and cocktail scene. “With our location in the heart of Oklahoma’s culture scene — from Thunder games to concerts at The Criterion — the AC Lounge will be the spot for locals and visitors alike,” said Perla Zubiate, Head Mixologist.


AC Hotel Bricktown stayed true to its Spanish roots when finalizing the cocktail, wine, and tapas menu, but made sure to sprinkle on some Oklahoma soul for good measure. Leading the cocktail lineup is AC Hotels’ signature Gin & Tonic (the “Gin & Tonic” became ubiquitous in Spanish culture following the Spanish Civil War; Spain is the top gin-consuming country in the EU, third in the world). This signature cocktail will include Hendrick’s Gin and Fever Tree Mediterranean Tonic. Closing out the cocktail list is The Landrun, an ode to Oklahoma featuring Prairie Wolf Vodka and Strong Tonic.


The duality continues throughout the menu: guests can choose between sangria or Black Mesa ESB on tap, a bottle of Roughtail or Estrella Damm, or even Cava from Cataluyna or Moscato from Sparks, Oklahoma.


The flavors of the food menu — comprised of toasts, salads, and tapas — are inspired by the streets of Madrid and Barcelona. Start with a serving of avocado, feta, and basil toast, then warm up with a small plate of warm olives with citrus zest and herbs, crispy seasoned potatoes with smoked paprika and aioli, or traditional Spanish meatballs topped with San Marzano tomato sauce, arugula, and ricotta cheese.
