Renting a car at Will Rogers World Airport ought to be a little less fraught starting Wednesday. Artist Christopher Janney's work is among the reasons why.

The airport's new rental car center opens Wednesday morning.

The 19,000-square-foot, $36.2 million center — surrounded by a sea of 820 rental car spaces — replaces crowded facilities in the airport's parking garage.

Advantage, Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty have counters in the new building. The bus ride to and from the terminal will be less than a mile.
