Just as the leaves are falling and the temperatures dip down to the freezing mark, the Devon Ice Rink will open for its ninth season at Myriad Botanical Gardens. As one of the premier attractions of Downtown in December, the rink is located on the transformed Seasonal Plaza and features 5500 square feet of real ice, skate rentals, seasonal food and beverage offerings. Take part in all that is magical about the holiday season and skate under the skyline and twinkle lights strung across the rink.
Admission is $13 per person for all ages and includes skates; $8 for guests if you bring your own; $8 for military members; $7 for members of the Gardens and includes skates. A group rate of 10 or more is $9 per person and includes skates. Please make a reservation in advance for a group.

We are offering five Learn to Curl sessions taught by the Oklahoma Curling Club. Learn the rules, and etiquette of this Olympic sport during a morning on the ice. Price is $20 for Gardens members and $25 for nonmembers. Dates are Saturday, Nov. 23, Dec. 7 and 21, Jan. 4 and 18. Time is 9 to 10:30 a.m. Preregistration is required at myriadgardens.org. Classes fill up fast.
The Rink can also be reserved for birthday parties. Rental fee includes seating area near the rink for 1.5 hours, 10 skate rentals - $9 per additional skater – five bistro tables and one dozen cookies.

Free and open to the public, Myriad Botanical Gardens provides 15 acres of ornamental gardens and grounds that include a children’s garden and carousel, native prairie garden, shade gardens, tree and shrub collections, lake with terraced gardens and a diverse collection of ornamental flowering perennials and grasses.
The Gardens offer a variety of horticultural educational programs for all ages ranging from lectures, classes, workshops and walking tours to seasonal festivals. The grounds also feature The Crystal Bridge Conservatory, home to thousands of tropical and desert plants. With more than 500,000 visitors annually, the Gardens is managed by Myriad Gardens Foundation, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that partners with corporate and community groups to enhance the educational, aesthetic, cultural and economic development of Oklahoma City.
