OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — Science Museum Oklahoma invites adults to travel back millions of years for SMO21+: Prehistoric Party on Friday, April 24, 2026. The after-hours event gives guests ages 21 and older the opportunity to explore the museum with a prehistoric twist through hands-on activities, science demonstrations, and themed experiences inspired by the world of dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures.

SMO21+ transforms the museum into an adults-only playground where curiosity and discovery take center stage. During Prehistoric Party, guests can dive into paleontology, get crafty, play games, and explore Earth’s most fascinating prehistoric creatures.

Guests are encouraged to arrive dressed for the occasion with dinosaur costumes, paleontologist gear, and other creative prehistoric looks.

“Dinosaurs are a powerful gateway into scientific curiosity,” said Sherry Marshall, John E. Kirkpatrick President and CEO of Science Museum Oklahoma. “SMO21+: Prehistoric Party gives adults the chance to explore the science of paleontology while reconnecting with their childlike curiosity, but without kids in the museum.”

The evening will feature themed science activities, museum exploration, and the return of several SMO21+ favorites, including the Secret Room experience. VIP ticket holders receive early entry and access to a signature cocktail created specifically for the event.

Tickets start at $35 for SMO21+: Prehistoric Party and are available now at sciencemuseumok.org/smo21. Guests must be 21 or older to attend. VIP tickets include early entry and additional event perks.
