Museum Films presents the 2017 Academy Award®-nominated films

OKLAHOMA CITY - Film fans will not want to miss seeing more than 20 of the 2017 Academy Award®-nominated feature length and short films on the big screen Feb. 2 through March 19 at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. Once again, OKCMOA will be the exclusive Oklahoma City venue to screen all the Oscar-nominated short films and two of 2017's Best Foreign Language film contenders.

"'A Man Called Ove' was one of our most popular films at the Museum last year, and clearly, the Academy liked it as well," said Michael J. Anderson, Ph.D., OKCMOA director of curatorial affairs. "We are excited to add an additional screening of this audience favorite on Feb. 8, and a number of the better nominees, including a full, week-long run of Iranian foreign-language nominee, "The Salesman," which just made the news for other reasons."

Film admission is $5 for OKCMOA Members, $9 for adults, $7 for seniors, college students and teens and $5 for children 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased online at or at the Museum box office.

"We are looking forward to another great Oscar season at OKCMOA," said Lisa Broad, Ph.D., OKCMOA interim film curator. "New this year will be two signature Oscars-inspired cocktails available at the film lobby bar, a photography station and an opportunity to vote for your favorite short film. Everyone who completes an Oscar-nominated short film ballot will be entered to win a pair of tickets to a future Museum Films screening."
