Mask up and get ready for a lively (and socially-distant) night on the town—OKC style.
From beer gardens and patios to drinks with a view to classic arcade games and comedy shows, Oklahoma City has plenty of choices for a safe, casual night out with friends. All nightlife activities mentioned are 21+ to participate unless otherwise noted.
If you’re looking for a unique nightlife experience, cruise through the Bricktown Entertainment District in style on the Bricktown Bike Bar. The pedal-powered bike bar is an entertaining outdoor adventure for groups of up to 16 riders. Tours can be taken on a pre-designed route through Bricktown or on a custom route. The bike bar comes with a party facilitator who will guide you through the route, allowing bar stops at your leisure.
For casual drinks outdoors with a view, head to Midtown and stop by O Bar, the Collective or Bleu Garten. In Automobile Alley, Sidecar Barley & Wine Bar and the Parlor both offer delicious cocktails and flexible indoor and outdoor seating options. Social Capital and Good Times also have expansive patios, hand-crafted cocktails, several local beer options and a thriving nightlife scene.
The Bricktown Comedy Club is one of Bricktown's most energetic nightlife attractions—featuring a full calendar of A-list comedians and a complete food and bar menu. The comedy club hosts a free Open-Mic Night on Wednesdays with everything from professional comedians working out new material to comics getting on stage for the very first time. The venue provides plenty of space between tables and allows time for full sanitizing between shows. All shows are 18+ to enter and 21+ to drink.
Located along the Bricktown Canal, Michael Murphy’s Dueling Pianos has been a signature live entertainment venue in OKC for years. The show consists of 3 piano players who take the stage in rotations while performing a high-energy, request-driven show, with hints of comedy and banter throughout. Enjoy a night filled with delicious drinks, spirited karaoke and a rock and roll piano show. The inside capacity is being limited right now so table reservations are recommended. If you prefer to sit outside, Michael Murphy’s also has a large patio that overlooks the Bricktown Canal so you can still join in on the fun while social-distancing.
Battle for the high score at FlashBack RetroPub. OKC’s original arcade bar in historic Film Row specializes in vintage video games and nostalgic memorabilia. Flashback is home to over 120 retro games that are always free to play, with a $5 cover charge on Fridays and Saturdays.
If games are your style, head to the newest nightlife hot spot in the Plaza District, Up-Down. The adult arcade features 25 cent games from the 80s and 90s, pinball machines, classic skee-ball alleys, Nintendo 64 console gaming, life-size Jenga and Connect Four. Up-Down also offers pizza by the slice, two bars with a plethora of local beer on tap and an upper and lower wrap-around patio with plenty of outdoor seating.
