H&8th Night Market
H&8th Night Market, presented by Fowler Toyota, is a monthly, family-and-pet-friendly street festival built around a lineup of the city's top gourmet food trucks. The event takes place on the last Friday of each month on North Hudson Avenue between Northwest 7th Street and Northwest 8th Street in downtown OKC. This season's final H&8th will be October 25. NHL Showcase Preseason Game
NHL hockey is coming to Oklahoma City this Friday. OKC will host an NHL Showcase Preseason Game featuring the Dallas Stars against the Barons parent club, the Edmonton Oilers. Day Out with Thomas
Thomas the Tank EngineTM pulls into OKC at the Oklahoma Railway Museum for the Day Out With ThomasTM: GO GO THOMAS Tour this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This fun-filled event offers little engineers and their families the opportunity to take a ride on a 15-ton replica of Thomas the Tank Engine, star of the popular Thomas & FriendsTM series. Orr Family Farm Grand Reopening
Head out to Orr Family Farm and join in the grand reopening celebration! The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. with general admission from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. to check out all of your favorite attractions. The corn maze and pumpkin patch - two fall favorites - will be open as well. Also, enter the kiddos (age 12 and under) in the best dressed cowboy or cowgirl contest from 10 a.m. to noon! Plaza District Festival
On Saturday, Oklahoma City's Plaza District will celebrate local creativity with the annual Plaza District Festival, presented by Fowler Volkswagen of Norman. Participants in this year's festival can enjoy live music, artist booths, kids' art activities and a variety of local concessions. The annual event celebrates the progress of the Plaza District, a district once blighted by urban decay, now boasting a renewed energy and diverse creative culture. This family-and-pet-friendly festival will happen rain or shine.
