What's the perfect way to beat the heat and entertain the kids (and yourself) all summer long? Science Museum Oklahoma! From the two-story indoor tree house at Gadget Trees to the Science Live! shows, this 35,0000 square-foot museum has plenty for all to enjoy.

1. Planetarium
Perfect for any space buff out there, Science Museum Oklahoma (SMO) is the place to learn about the constellations and planets. Get a first-hand look with the Tonight Sky presentation and hear the latest news and discoveries from NASA!

2. Power Play
Designed to test strength, speed, stamina, flexibility and balance, Science Museum Oklahoma's new exhibit - Power Play - explores human physiology and the power of the human body. Power Play includes several interactive elements and physical challenges such as a two-person, 50-foot dash course, tug of war, climbing wall, and vertical jump.

3. IMAX Dolphins at the Dome Theater
Unravel the mysteries of dolphin communication in this Academy Award-nominated IMAX film which takes you into the complex lives of these fascinating animals.

4. Science Live!
At Science Live! you can get a hands on experience with a series of explosions and experiments that will keep you on your toes. (Insider Tip: if you really want to get in on the action make sure to volunteer when asked...Trust us, it's worth it!)

5. International Gymnastics Hall of Fame
Pay tribute to famous coaches and athletes who have had an impact on the world of gymnastics, all while testing out your own skills on the balance beam, tumbling mat and more!  You can also see a collection of medals, photos, artwork and videos featuring the world's most accomplished gymnasts.

So what's the cost, you ask? General admission is $13.95 for adults, $11.95 for children up to age 12, and $11.95 for seniors over the age of 65. Children under two are admitted free of charge.  And, SMO is open 7 days a week. Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
