Here's a little bit of trivia for you: Did you know OKC is the first city ever to host three NCAA championships in a single calendar year? It started with the NCAA DI Wrestling Championships back in March. Then came the Women's College World Series in May/June, which recently agreed to make OKC its home until 2035. And coming next week to Chesapeake Energy Arena is the third and final championship in OKC for 2014 - NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship.
Quarterfinals action happens this Saturday, with 16 teams vying to be one of the eight to punch their ticket to OKC. The action comes to OKC with the national semifinals on Thursday, December 18 and the championship match on Saturday, December 20. Game times have yet to be determined.
