Tomorrow is the First of October and with that comes a full month of fall activities, spooky things and lots and lots of candy. For those looking for more of a haunted time in OKC, we've rounded up some of the not to miss frightening spots.
The Sanctuary is OKC's largest indoor haunted house, set as a four story World War II psychiatric hospital. Needless to say it's not for the weak. Try it out for yourself and let us know... We're not sure we can handle it!
Zombie Apocalypse Paintball anyone? Yep, you read that right! Bring out your inner Rick or Michonne and go all Walking Dead on these zombies with an evening at Orr Family Farm.
FrightFest at Frontier City is perfect for those thrill seekers out there. Not only is it your chance to ride all the rides this fall but enjoy everything from an outdoor haunted house to scary shows to Booville for the little ones and plenty of thrills and chills in-between.
Looking for a different way to celebrate all things Halloween? Haunt the River is just the thing for you. Enjoy music, a cash bar and boat ride on the Oklahoma River to get you in the holiday spirit, Fridays and Saturdays all month long.
For a more family friendly haunting, be sure to visit Haunt the Zoo. This week long event (October 26 - October 31) allows families to embark on the Haunt the Zoo Trail where they will be greeted by mascot characters and tasty treats!
And for some real ghost stories, be sure to stay at the Skirvin Hilton and request the 10th floor. From NBA stars to frequent visitors, it is said that noises can be heard, shadows are seen and items are frequently moved during a stay here!
