If you can’t wait to plant a spring garden or spruce up your house, the Oklahoma City’s Home + Garden Show at the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds on January 20-22 is the place to be. With more than 500 vendors and experts in landscaping, gardening, remodeling and home décor, all you could want or need to create your dream home or garden can be found in one place. Here’s what you can expect at the show:

  • Jason Cameron, host of DIY Network’s Man Caves & Desperate Landscapes will show how he transforms barren landscapes into picturesque lawns and unused rec area into an inviting space for gents only.

  • Joel Karsten, pioneer of Straw Bale Gardening demonstrates his revolutionary technique to creates productive, nutritious and rich soil for planting anywhere. All you need is a bale of straw.

  • Matt Fox, host HGTV’s Room by Room understands DIY home improvement projects should be quick, easy and only take a weekend. He’ll show you how to use basic supplies found at home improvement stores to fix up your home in no time.

  • Edible Landscaping: Have your Lawn and Eat It Too – Prairie Earth Gardens has created an herb/vegetable garden to support farm-to-table cooking and eating. Come see how your lawn can be beautiful as well as yummy.

  • Tiny Homes from across the country will come together and create a Tiny Home Village inside the new Bennett Event Center. Find out how much space you really need to live comfortably.

  • The Home + Garden Show has partnered with Rebuilding Together OKC to showcase their work in rebuilding homes and neighborhoods and transforming lives in Oklahoma City.

  • Tony’s Tree Plantation will feature 2200 sq. ft. of Oklahoma-specific landscaping to help inspire and encourage you in your own landscaping adventures.

  • Venture out on Sunday, January 22 to enjoy a variety of tasty treats from some of Oklahoma’s finest food trucks at the Food Truck Rally.

  • All active and retired military, firefighters and police officers get in free on Hero Day on Sunday.

The Oklahoma City Home + Garden Show offers national and local professional advice for gardening and home improvement as well as the opportunity to shop, save and compare on home and gardening products. The show will be held in the Centennial Building, Cox Pavilion and the new Bennett Event Center.The show will be open Friday, 12 to 9 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, 10a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission for adults is $12 at the box office or $10 when purchased online. Children 12 and under are free.
