Paseo Arts Festival
May 25-27, 2019
More than 90 visual artists will fill the Historic Paseo Arts District, located between NW 30th and Dewey and NW 28th and Walker, selling original artwork in a wide variety of media, from painting and photography to woodwork and jewelry. The Festival will host over 40 musical acts and other live performers on two stages. The featured acts include several different genres of music including rock, pop, jazz, funk, and acoustic. With so many different styles of music, everyone in the family will find something they enjoy.
The food court will feature 20 food and beverage vendors, bringing traditional and not-so-traditional festival treats, both savory and sweet. Get hungry for corn dogs, funnel cakes and chicken on a stick. Newer items on the menu will be wraps, gyros, pork dishes and jerk chicken, which you can wash down with a delicious craft beer from Coop Ale Works.
A children's area, offered at no cost, allows future artists to explore the arts and have fun while creating clay sculptures, spin art and more.
Each year, this event draws more than 60,000 people, who come to enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of this event. As the Paseo Arts Association's largest annual fundraiser, the Festival helps to support art programs and events in the Paseo year-round.
In addition to the visiting food vendors and artists, the district's three restaurants and over 20 galleries and other businesses will also be open during festival hours. Many galleries will host special exhibits and new artists during the Festival. There is so much to see and do at the Paseo Arts Festival: you won't want to miss it! Not sure where to park? The Paseo Arts Festival has a shuttle service! Parking will be available to festival visitors at First Christian Church at 36th and Walker. The shuttle will run every 15 minutes each day of the festival from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. May 26 and 27 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 28.
