    Each June people representing over 100 North American tribes gather to share in the richness and diversity of their heritage during the annual Red Earth Native American Cultural Festival in downtown Oklahoma City. The festival, the largest Native American event of its type, includes a parade, juried art market, pow-wow, 5K run and 2K fun walk, food, children’s activities and more. The Red Earth Museum permanent collection includes more than 1,400 contemporary and historical artifacts, the Deupree Cradleboard Collection and the only collection of Northwest Pacific Coast totem poles in the area.
