Oklahoma City's original pizza that Jack Sussman brought in 1947 is back! The eclectic food and wine menu will make everyone happy!
Rick Bailey, longtime owner of the legendary Nomad restaurant, with Brad Hogan will open Sussy's Eatery and Spirits in Bricktown on November 6th.
The Nomad, of course, was the last restaurant opened by infamous local restaurateur Jack "Sussy" Sussman, who introduced pizza to Oklahoma City and owned a number of local restaurants between the late 1940s until his death in 1980.
That’s when the Bailey family approached the Sussman Family Trust and purchased the restaurant and has owned it ever since.
The new restaurant will have 65% of the original menu from Nomads plus a few additions to the menu. The restaurant will offer counter service and a full service bar with over 50 bottles of wine in stock.
