Boathouse District

The Oklahoma River's Boathouse District includes the Chesapeake Boathouse, the Devon Boathouse - home of Oklahoma City University rowing & kayaking and the OKC National High Performance Center for rowing and canoe/kayak - and the Chesapeake Finish Line Tower.

Each year the river is the site of numerous regattas. It's also a U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Site. Races in 2012 will include Corporate Challenge Racing, Central District Youth Championships and OCU Head of the Oklahoma Regatta/Rowing World Challenge.

Hourly kayak, SUP and bicycle rentals are available daily at the Chesapeake Boathouse, Oklahoma River and at the Route 66 Boathouse, Lake Overholser, for $10/hr, March through October.
