If you’re tired of boring meeting spaces with a bland, uninspiring aesthetic, find a unique space that is sure to leave an impression at the SKELETONS: Museum of Osteology in Oklahoma City! This scientific marvel contains over 450 fully articulated skeletons, over 800 specimens and around 7,000 square feet of exhibit space. Perfect for events of around 100 people, the Museum of Osteology makes any meeting more memorable and enjoyable with incredible displays that grace both levels of the building.

Located in southeast OKC on Sunnylane Rd, the Skeletons Museum opens both floors of its facility for events. The building’s second story looks down onto the first floor, with the museum’s centerpiece, a 40-foot humpback whale skeleton, suspended overhead.

The facility can fit up to 180 people with about 95 total parking spaces on site. The museum is nearly finished with a recent remodel that made the building’s interior significantly more colorful and engaging for visitors and event attendees. Soon, the Museum of Osteology will begin work to put in a new carpet and build an additional exhibit space off the main gallery that will be available for meetings and events.

For any after-hours receptions, alcohol is permitted on the premises and the gift shop is open for eventgoers to grab a souvenir.

The museum also houses Skulls Unlimited, a world-class supplier of osteological specimens dedicated to science. According to an article published by Outdoor Living, Skulls Unlimited is the largest supplier of museum-quality skulls and skeletal specimens in the world, with pieces adorning the walls of the Smithsonian Institute and Harvard Medical School.

From yoga groups to award banquets, SKELETONS: Museum of Osteology has been utilized as an event space for many different purposes. If you want to set your meeting apart from the rest, be sure to consider Oklahoma City’s premier bone museum.
