Shopping by District
There’s so much great shopping in OKC that it’s best to tackle it one area at a time. In fact, shopping in OKC is best done by district to make sure you don’t miss anything! Look through the different areas and their offerings, then plan your attack. In these distinct, little areas throughout the city, you’ll find charming locally owned shops of all kinds, full of treasures to take home. And while this isn’t a complete list, it’s a great start to shopping throughout OKC’s districts.
Automobile Alley District
Once known as the home of OKC’s car dealerships, Automobile Alley is now a hopping gateway into downtown along Broadway Avenue from 13th Street. Explore specialty shops like Plenty Mercantile and hip clothing boutiques like Shop Good. If you're looking for inclusive and unique gifts, visit Common Dear. Find curated items for the home from all over the world at Urbane.
Bricktown District
Nestled among many fabulous dining experiences in the heart of Bricktown is Painted Door, a specialty gift shop. It’s brimming with decorative accessories, home furnishings, bath and body care, infant and toddler accessories, home fragrances and collectibles. The kids will love a visit to Bricktown Candy Company, with over 250 varieties of candy to choose from. Bricktown is also home to Oklahoma City’s Bass Pro Shops, which can be a destination in itself.
Midtown District
Shopping in the hip Midtown area is concentrated along Walker Avenue near the roundabout at 10th Street. This is where one of the cutest stationery shops, Chirps and Cheers, awaits with a curated collection of paper and gift items. Trade Men’s Wares has a collection of men’s clothing, accessories and grooming items for the ruggedly sophisticated. Black Scintilla has great gifts, home goods, apparel and accessories, with an emphasis on Oklahoma vendors. Further down, the ladies can pop into Brushed, a full-service salon, and get their hair done or stop by Mode for a fresh outfit before a night out on the town. Stop by Opolis Clothing for vintage sports and local apparel. All their tees are designed and hand printed in Oklahoma.
Paseo Arts District
In the artsy Paseo Arts District, you’ll immediately be taken in by the darling Spanish revival buildings nestled side-by-side in a colorful stucco rainbow. Much like the colors of the buildings, you’ll find a variety of items inside, from jewelry to sculptures to paintings to pottery. It’s the perfect place to find artsy treasures and mementos to take home. Eden offers unique fashion, playful accessories and wardrobe styling, and Betsy King Shoes, a specialty shoe boutique that caters to the stylish and sophisticated gal, will be sure to put a spring in your step.
Plaza District

Bad Granny’s Bazaar is a great example, with its retro and vintage clothing, kitschy gifts, furnishings, jewelry, art and more. DNA Galleries features almost exclusively local art and products like jewelry, T-shirts and other fashion. There’s also fun and trendy clothing shops like Out On A Limb Boutique and Dig It! where you'll find quirky and retro apparel and accessories. If you’re looking for unique and local, you’ll find it here.
