Are you ready to train for an intergalactic mission? Science Museum Oklahoma’s “SMO21: Mission Control”, presented by Express Employment International, is set for 7-10 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 26.

The adults-only night at the museum will explore the wonders of space exploration – from learning how to launch your own rocket, viewing never-before-seen space flight artifacts, building your own astronaut gear in the Tinkering Garage to exploring zero-gravity and testing your planetary knowledge with a shocking twist.

The full museum will be open during SMO21, giving guests the opportunity to explore the museum’s exhibits and galleries. In addition to themed activities and a cash bar with beer, wine and intergalactic cocktails, the museum’s café will be open for guests who work up an appetite.

Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 the day of the event. VIP tickets for the event are sold out and general admission tickets are selling quickly. Advance tickets are highly recommended.

Doors close at 7:30 p.m. and no tickets may be purchased after that time. No outside food or drink are permitted for adult events.

SMO21, the museum’s adults-only, after-hours program for ages 21 and up, is a chance for adults to explore SMO without children.
