If you don’t want to wakeboard but are still hoping to enjoy some time on the water, this unique attraction has a large, floating aqua park that is the perfect place for kids to play.

Scissortail Park Splash Pad

Scissortail Park Sprayground

For a more traditional splash pad, head to the Scissortail Park sprayground, where your kiddo can enjoy themselves alongside other children happily playing. Located in the upper park, the sprayground is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Thunder Fountain at Myriad Gardens

Nearby in the heart of OKC is the Thunder Fountain at the Myriad Botanical Gardens. Sitting next to the Children’s Garden, the Thunder Fountain is a fun way for kids to cool off during a hot summer day and provides a full sensory experience of an Oklahoma thunderstorm. Children must be under adult supervision and water shoes or foot protection are recommended. Myriad Gardens also has a Seasonal Plaza Water Feature with a gorgeous view of downtown Oklahoma City and an artistic lighting display.
