(OKLAHOMA CITY) – Downtown Oklahoma City Partnership debuts a reimagined fundraising event, Starlight, on Thursday, June 1, 2024. The public is invited to attend a night in downtown Oklahoma City with a party under the stars featuring live music from Ckai Dawson and The Experience, open bar and hors d’oeuvres from Kam’s Kookery, a signature cocktail from The Jones Assembly, and more surprises.

The re-envisioned Starlight concept will dazzle guests by transforming unexpected urban spaces into the summer kickoff event of the year. Adding another layer of excitement, each year Starlight will embark on a journey to a new location within downtown Oklahoma City. This constant evolution promises a fresh experience with a unique color theme to match.

Through a partnership with Hall Capital, the inaugural Starlight will be held at Fred Jones Avenue in the West Village. Toucan Productions brings its stage, design, and lighting expertise to ensure the street is transformed into the ultimate nightlife experience. Guests can expect to mix, mingle, and dance the night away! This year's Starlight adds a brilliant new dimension: a signature color theme. Prepare to glow in Starlight Blue, the electrifying hue of the 2024 event.

Starlight prioritizes guest comfort and accessibility. The menu by Kam's Kookery will cater to diverse dietary needs with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Additionally, the bars will serve a non-alcoholic alternative. The price of $100 per ticket (plus fees) is an event model that relies on the generous and significant support of sponsors to offer this experience at an accessible price point.

All proceeds benefit Downtown Oklahoma City Partnership, a 501(c)(6) nonprofit urban place management organization, whose mission is to create and champion a vibrant and diverse downtown through placemaking, advocacy, and promotion. By attending Starlight, guests help to fund downtown marketing, special events, public art, advocacy for community issues, street-level services such as cleaning, graffiti removal, trash pickup, and much more.

Starlight tickets go on sale to the public on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 11 a.m. Tickets are $100 plus fees and include admission to Starlight. All tickets must be purchased in advance through Eventbrite at starlight2024.eventbrite.com. Guests must be 21+ to attend, and party or cocktail attire aligned with the color theme is encouraged.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for Downtown OKC’s Starlight.
