There’s blood spatter on the floor and enough evidence to suspect foul play. Guests can become the detective those true crime shows and podcasts have prepared them to be and crack the case during Science Museum Oklahoma’s “SMO21 True Crime: Blood, Bones and Booze” on Friday, August 27, from 6:30 – 10:00 p.m.

Inspired by the Museum’s traveling exhibit - Sherlock Holmes: The Exhibition, amateur detectives will be summoned to solve a crime. Museum educators and community partners will help guests develop their crime-solving skills and deal with shady characters to catch the culprit. They’ll have to watch carefully as the night unfolds and be prepared to hone in on every detail. By examining fingerprints, blood spatter and other eerie evidence, guests will need the wits and courage of Sherlock himself to survive the evening and solve the crime.

A little liquid courage always helps to catch a criminal; therefore, the event will include cash bars featuring wine, beer and signature cocktails. The museum’s café will be open for guests who work up an appetite. Access to the museum’s permanent exhibits and all activities are included in the price of admission. Guests must be 21+ years old to attend.

Tickets are $21 in advance and $25 the day of the event. VIP tickets are $35 in advance and $39 on the day of the event. This event is expected to sell-out so people are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance. We cannot guarantee tickets will be available at the door.
