OKLAHOMA CITY (November 1, 2022) – The Braum's Holiday River Parade returns to the Oklahoma River on Saturday, December 3, as part of RIVERSPORT’s Winter Glow holiday family experience which runs November 25 through December 30.

The Braum’s Holiday River Parade is a popular community event attracting thousands to the Boathouse District each year. It will include the return of skiing elves, a parade of decorated boats sparkling on the Oklahoma River, the arrival of Santa Claus and fireworks.

The event was originated by community event-organizer Mike McAuliffe who passed away in 2020 and it is now hosted by RIVERSPORT. The parade is 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3. Admission is free; parking is $5.

RIVERSPORT’s Winter Glow experience includes ice skating, curling, climbing, skiing and snowboarding on the Ski OKC indoor slope, plus firepits and holiday lights. RIVERSPORT’s synthetic ice skating rink and curling courts offer a total ice experience without ice. Winter Glow will also feature four covered climbing experiences – a cavern wall, leap of faith, adventure climb, speed wall – and simulated ice climbing, all decorated in a holiday theme.

New for this year, RIVERSPORT will be offering eSports competitions with weekly prize offerings sponsored by Cox Communications.

Winter Glow is included in RIVERSPORT season memberships, and day passes are available: $19.99 for adults and $14.99 for youth ages 12 and younger.

Winter Glow and the Braum’s Holiday River Parade are presented by Cox and ToonsUSA, and sponsored by Prosperity Bank, Express Employment Professionals and Kroger Delivery. Nordic Climbing is presented The Ford Family Foundation. Media partners are Tyler Media, KFOR Oklahoma’s News 4, The Oklahoma Media Company, and Lamar Outdoor.
