Oklahoma City, OK -- Get ready to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Elton John's iconic albums “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” and “Don’t Shoot Me I’m Only the Piano Player” with an epic tribute concert at Myriad Botanical Gardens in downtown Oklahoma City. On Friday, August 25, join us for an evening of music, food trucks, and fun as talented local artists take the stage to perform songs from these classic albums.
This free event will be held at Devon Lawn & Band Shell, where guests can enjoy music starting at 7 p.m. along with a selection of food trucks beginning at 6 p.m. To get into the spirit of this tribute concert honoring a musical icon, attendees are encouraged to wear fun and funky eyeglasses, sequins, and boas.
The lineup features some of Oklahoma City's best musicians including F1RSTHAND, Casii Stephen and the Midnight Sun, Poor Sap Band, Soft Hands, Stephen Salewon, Josh Roberts, Neaven Morgan and Chanda Graham, with opening act School of Rock OKC.
