Oklahoma City hosts the Las Vegas Aviators for a six-game series filled with special offers and fun promotions starting Monday; July Fourth Block Party Takes Place Pregame

OKLAHOMA CITY – Join the Oklahoma City Dodgers to celebrate Independence Day starting Monday, July 4 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark as the Dodgers open a six-game home series against the Las Vegas Aviators that includes special offers, fun promotions and games starting at 7:05 p.m. all week long.

The Dodgers Independence Day celebration kicks off with a 7:05 p.m. game Monday, July 4 with special patriotic festivities and postgame fireworks.

The July Fourth Block Party presented by Newcastle Casino will take place on the Mickey Mantle Plaza from 5-7 p.m. Monday and feature a live DJ and Clark Crew BBQ. A special combo meal that includes a Clark Crew BBQ pulled pork sandwich, bag of chips, cookie and a bottle of water will be available for purchase with net proceeds benefitting the OKC Dodgers Baseball Foundation. Tiff’s Treats is donating the cookies included in the meals, while Pepsi Co., is donating the included bottles of water.

A Hot Dog Eating Contest presented by Schwab Meat Co., will also take place during the block party and those interested in participating may register here. The contest and block party will take place on the west side of the ballpark and misters will be available to help keep guests cool.

On Monday, players and coaches will wear special “Stars and Stripes” hats on the field that will also be available for purchase in the OKC Dodgers Team Store.

The series continues at 7:05 p.m. on a $2 Tuesday featuring $2 select beer, soda and bottled water from a line of Budweiser and Pepsi products. COOP Ale Works draft beer will also be available at a special rate of $3.

For Friday’s game, Dodgers players and coaches will wear special retro OKC 89ers jerseys and hats in a nod to the franchise’s history for 89ers Night. The in-game experience and entertainment will be themed to match the nostalgia of the 1990s to celebrate the 89ers who played at All Sports Stadium from 1962-97 and won four league titles before the franchise relocated to Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in 1998.

Friday Night Fireworks will follow the game and a special all-you-can-eat ticket package is available for the evening, including all-you-can-eat ballpark fare, a game ticket and OKC Dodgers hat for $25.

The series wraps up at 7:05 p.m. Saturday and fans can purchase a Braum’s Friends and Family 4-Pack that includes four game tickets, four OKC Dodgers hats and four Braum’s combo vouchers starting at $46.99.
