This tribute show is produced by "Buddy Holly and The Legends of Rock N' Roll", an Oklahoma based tribute band which created the "Buddy:  The Buddy Holly Story" show in 2013.  The production pays tribute to Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and JP "The Big Bopper" Richardson who died together in a plane crash in the early hours of February 3, 1959, following the show a "Winter Dance Party" the previous evening.

Jim Paul Blair portrays Buddy Holly and has been seen around the region performing with Hankerin' 4 Hank, Jana Jae, and recently the Kornfield Friends Hee Haw show.  The show also features artists portraying Richie Valens and The Big Bopper with tunes of Elvis Presley and Bill Haley and The Comets.  A 10-piece band of all-star musicians from the Green Country area will also perform.  Blair and band member Angelina Villegas-Cummings were awarded Actor and Actress of the Year in 2013 by Muskogee Little Theatre for their work in "Buddy:  The Buddy Holly Story".

The Auditorium at The Douglass, located at 600 N. High, is OKC's newest venue. Created from an abandoned school, the Auditorium is now hosting concerts, comedy shows and theatrical productions. More at auditoriumatdouglass.com.
