Spring Break presented by Homeland offers days of endless fun with OKC Zoo Plus passes, extended hours, Golden Egg Safari, animal enrichment activities, and much more.
The Spring Break season is fast approaching and the Oklahoma City Zoo is the place to be for family-friendly happenings, one-of-a-kind animal encounters, wild events, and new experiences. Now through Sunday, March 23, 2025, Zoo guests will enjoy these special Spring Break activities presented by Homeland.
NEW OKC ZOO PLUS PASS ON SALE AT HOMELAND STORES
The fun adds up at the Oklahoma City Zoo with the new Zoo Plus pass. These special passes can be purchased in addition to Zoo admission for access to a lorikeet feeding, Stingray Bay, unlimited carousel rides, and a souvenir Zoo Key. Get yours today at any Homeland grocery for $5.99 per person with a $10 purchase. A Zoo Plus pass is a $16 value and regularly sold for $11 at the Zoo. Zoo admission not included with Zoo Plus passes and must be purchased for entry into the park. Zoo Plus passes purchased at Homeland are good through June 1, 2025.
- OKC Zoo Plus wristbands are on sale at the Zoo for regular price, $11/person and can be purchased in advance online or in-person at the park. Zoo Plus wristbands purchased at the Zoo can be redeemed all year long.

Adventurers of all ages will enjoy more time to explore the Oklahoma City Zoo as it will stay open until 6 p.m. with final entry allowed at 5 p.m. during Spring Break.
OKC ZOO GOLDEN EGG SAFARI: Saturday, March 15 through Sunday, March 23
Get in on the Golden Egg Safari, March 15-23, and the chance to win wild prizes! Find one of 50 eggs hidden around the Zoo daily. If you're one of our lucky guests to find an egg, return it to the Guest Services office in the Plaza to collect your prize. Limited to one Golden Egg per family, per day.
OKC ZOO HOSTS OBI DRIVE: Saturday, March 15, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The OKC Zoo and Our Blood Institute (OBI) are calling on the community to spring into action to help others by donating blood. OBI is hosting a blood drive at the OKC Zoo’s Education Center on Saturday, March 15, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. All donors will receive a T-shirt and a general admission voucher to the OKC Zoo. Plus, donors will be entered to win four exclusive Spring Break Zoo Plus wristbands and a Homeland gift card! Zoo vouchers may be used throughout the remainder of the year. SPRING BREAK ANIMAL ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES PRESENTED BY HOMELAND: Monday, March 17 through Saturday, March 22
Members of the Oklahoma City Zoo’s animal family will be treated to a variety of tasty and engaging enrichment items throughout Spring Break. Guests are invited to attend these daily enrichment activities and watch as animals interact with unique items created for them by their caretakers as part of the Zoo’s ongoing animal enrichment program. Enrichment activities will occur daily, March 17-22 at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and are free to attend with Zoo admission. - Monday, March 17: 10 a.m.: Giraffes and hoofstock (Expedition Africa presented by Inasmuch Foundation) / 2 p.m.: Bison (Oklahoma Trails)
- Tuesday, March 18: 10 a.m.: African spurred tortoise (Expedition Africa, next to honey badger habitat) / 2 p.m.: Cassowary (Sanctuary Asia)
- Wednesday, March 19: 10 a.m.: Galapagos tortoises (Children’s Zoo presented by Primrose Schools) / 2 p.m.: Whooping crane (Oklahoma Trails)
- Thursday, March 20: 10 a.m.: Jaguar (Cat Forest) / 2 p.m.: Asian elephants (Sanctuary Asia)
- Friday, March 21: 10 a.m.: African lions (Expedition Africa) / 2 p.m.: Langurs (Expedition Africa)
- Saturday, March 22: 10 a.m.: Indian Rhinos (Sanctuary Asia) / 2 p.m.: Western lowland gorillas (Great EscApe)
The Oklahoma City Zoo’s spring hours from Saturday, March 15 to Sunday March 24 are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with last entry at 5 p.m. Regular daytime hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily with the last entry at 4 p.m. Purchase advance Zoo admission tickets at okczoo.org/tickets and avoid the entry lines.
