Make easy plant markers, get creative and design your own plant, make leaf rubbings and complete a nature scavenger hunt.

How much do you love bugs? Is it a lot or just a little? The West is home to many insects that fly, crawl and dig their way through life. Discover the variety of insects where we live! Visit Liichokoshkomo’, the Museum’s new children’s play-scape to enjoy self-guided camp activities or view our virtual instructor via your phone!

Native at the Cowboy

Celebrate and explore the diverse indigenous cultures a Liichokoshkomo’s Intertribal Village. The village space offers an opportunity to explore the historical and contemporary diversity highlighted by seven distinctive tribes from Turtle Island: Ancient Puebloan, Hopi, Navajo, Chickasaw, Caddo, Pawnee and Kiowa. We invite families and supporters of the Cowboy to share the importance of our indigenous people, their culture, history, survival, villages and resiliency, through art, crafts, storytelling, music and dance.
