Free, self-guided event on March 29 features new apartments, historic buildings, and walkable neighborhoods.

(Oklahoma City) – The public is invited to attend the 2026 Downtown Living Tour, a free, self-guided event taking place Sunday, March 29, from noon to 4 p.m., hosted by Downtown Oklahoma City Partnership and the Downtown Business Improvement District. The event offers a chance to experience what it’s like to live in the heart of Oklahoma City and explore a growing mix of residential options throughout downtown.

Formerly known as the Downtown Home Tour, the event has grown in popularity alongside the increasing number of residential developments downtown and is now held annually after previously taking place every other year. As more people choose to live in downtown Oklahoma City, the tour provides an opportunity to see firsthand the variety of housing styles, amenities and neighborhoods that make up the downtown community.

Living in downtown Oklahoma City offers walkable neighborhoods, easy access to public transit, and proximity to many of the city’s most popular restaurants, parks, arts venues, and entertainment districts. Residents can step outside their front door to grab coffee, meet friends for dinner, spend time in nearby green spaces or attend events happening throughout the year. With a mix of modern apartments, historic buildings and distinct districts, downtown living provides a connected lifestyle in the center of the city.

The 2026 Downtown Living Tour will feature six properties showcasing living options for a variety of lifestyles, including working professionals, families, and empty nesters. The lineup includes upscale apartments, micro-units and historic redevelopments that reflect the range of housing options available downtown.

The tour is self-guided, and guests may begin at any participating location. Utilizing EMBARK’s free-fare pilot program, Downtown Living Tour attendees can navigate the event using the OKC Streetcar, with all properties just a short walk from transit stops. Registration is not required, but attendees are encouraged to RSVP on Eventbrite.
