Mike Epps has generated an extraordinary amount of buzz among his peers within the entertainment industry for being one of the funniest comic actors to emerge in the Hollywood scene. When Epps isn’t filming, he is touring the country and performing his comedy show to packed arenas. Born in Indianapolis, IN, into a large family, Epps’ natural comedic ability was encouraged at an early age, and he began performing standup as a teenager. He moved to Atlanta where he worked at the Comedy Act Theater, before moving to New York City to star in “Def Comedy Jam” in 1995. His first major film role came just two years later when he starred in Vin Diesel‘s “Strays,” a dramatic portrayal of relationships and drugs. In 1999, he made an appearance on the HBO mafia series “The Sopranos.” In addition to his aforementioned film work with Ice Cube, Epps had several other feature-film appearances. In 2000, he was featured in “Bait,” starring Jamie Foxxand David Morse, and in the jail-comedy “3 Strikes.” He performed the voice of Sonny in “Dr. Dolittle 2,” starring Eddie Murphy, in 2001. As he gained more recognition, his comedic talent began to blossom, as demonstrated in his two 2002 features: Kevin Bray‘s “All About the Benjamins,” an action-packed comedy, and the sequel-to-the-sequel, “Friday After Next,” in which he starred as Day-Day. He took over the part of Ed Norton in the big-screen remake of “The Honeymooners,” and had a major supporting role in the Petey Green biopic “Talk to Me.” He had a part in the smash 2009 comedy “The Hangover,” had a big part in “Next Day Air,” and a turn in “Lottery Ticket.” In addition to his acting, he kept churning out comedy specials. Corey Holcomb

Sunday, July 28 |  3 p.m.  6 p.m.  8:45 p.m.

Tickets start at $40 (not including taxes & fees)

Going from hanging in the hood to performing comedy on Jay Leno’s “Tonight Show,” Corey Holcomb’s comedy genius transcends class and racial divides. If you understand English, Corey’s humor will tickle your funny bone. People all over the world can relate to the drama of trying to make a relationship work. According to Holcomb, a “hunter” (man) being captured by his “prey” (woman) makes for the best comedy ever. Holcomb offers plenty of advice on how men who have been the victim of a “hostile takeover” by the female in the relationship can take back control. You can believe there is no counselor on the planet who offers the kind of relationship advice and remedies Holcomb dispenses from the stage. Holcomb’s comedy set is both an auditory and visual experience. His facial gestures alone can make an audience burst with laughter. “I spend a lot of time practicing my stage faces because I need to be able to convey care and concern while I criticize.” Although Holcomb has a long and diverse resume of successes, he remains humble and approachable. Holcomb currently tours the country performing standup & his Comedy/R&B songs. He also hosts his own podcast, “The Corey Holcomb 5150 Show,” which began on The Foxxhole but later moved to YouTube and CoreyHolcomb.com. Holcomb can also be seen bringing funny to the screen with his role as 'Boonie' on “Adult Swim’s TV series “Black Jesus.” For more info, visit www.coreyholcomb5150show.com (Follow on Facebook @CoreyHolcombFan, Instagram @coreyholcombfan)
