Book your breakfast experience with the celebrity of the season, Santa, at the Zoo’s brand-new, family-themed event series.

 

A new holiday experience kicks off this winter as the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden introduces Breakfast with Santa. The big guy himself, Santa, is taking time out of his busy schedule to meet friends and fans for breakfast at the wildest place in town, the Oklahoma City Zoo.

Breakfast with Santa will be hosted in the OKC Zoo’s Canopy Restaurant which will be transformed into a gingerbread wonderland on select Saturdays in November and December from 9 to 11 a.m. Guests will enjoy a delicious buffet of mouth-watering and eye-popping dishes and little ones will be delighted to write their own letter to Santa at the Zoo’s exclusive North Pole writing station and deliver it to him in-person. Attendees will have the opportunity to take photos with Santa for an additional cost so come ready to get these memorable moments.

“The holidays are such magical time centered around togetherness and the OKC Zoo prides itself on creating distinct occasions like SAFARI LIGHTS and now, Breakfast with Santa, that can become annual favorites for families and friends,” said Jenna Dodson, OKC Zoo’s director of events and sales.

The Breakfast with Santa menu is a combination of morning favorites with a festive twist including a gingerbread French toast bar complete with all the fixings, scrambled eggs, carved ham, assorted pastries, sliced fruit, yogurt, and granola. There will also be a cookie decorating station and hot chocolate bar to satisfy everyone’s sweet side.

Event dates for Breakfast with Santa, 9 to 11 a.m., include:

  • Saturday, December 6, 2025
  • Saturday, December 13, 2025
  • Saturday, December 20, 2025

Spend time exploring the park after breakfast. See the OKC Zoo’s animal family including of all the newest additions: Asian elephant calf, Xerxes; zebra foal, Atlas; Francois langur infant, Frankie; okapi calf, Maple; and giraffe calf, Kamili. Each of these youngsters are growing and thriving and can be seen, weather permitting, throughout the Zoo’s habitats.

Breakfast with Santa tickets are $56 per adult and $46 per child and include general admission to the Zoo. Discount prices for ZOOfriends members are $36 per adult and $30 per child. Keep the holiday celebrations going with OKC ZOO SAFARI LIGHTS. Presented by OG&E, SAFARI LIGHTS, returns with all-new illuminated lanterns and festive interactives accessible by drive-thru and walk-thru experiences. OKC ZOO SAFARI LIGHTS begins Saturday, November 15, and runs nightly through Sunday, January 4, 2026 from 5:30 to 11 p.m. with the last check-in at 10 p.m., and will be open on holiday nights. During the OKC Zoo’s Winter Hours, Monday, December 1 through Wednesday, February 4, 2026, park hours will be open 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday/Sunday with last entry at 4 p.m. The park will be closed to guests during the day on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
