Fall celebration set for Saturday, November 8, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

 

(OKLAHOMA CITY) – Midtown Walkabout returns this fall, marking a decade of bringing fun, excitement, and community spirit to the heart of Oklahoma City! On Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., visitors can experience a full day of activities, local shopping, and entertainment throughout the Midtown district.

 

This year features exclusive in-store deals from Midtown merchants, a vibrant Vendor Market on Walker Avenue, and family-friendly activities hosted by the Midtown Association and Downtown Oklahoma City Partnership. From live music to special promotions, this iconic event is the perfect way to usher in the fall season while exploring the charm of Midtown.

Feature activities include:

  • Black Cat Scavenger Hunt: Pick up a game card at the information tent and search for black cats hidden in Midtown businesses for a chance to win prizes.
  • Vendor Market on Walker Ave: A pop-up market showcasing local goods and shops from Park Place to 12th Street.
  • Walkabout on Walker Ave: Free caricatures, face painting, sidewalk sales and more.
  • Live Music: Performances throughout the district at McNellie's OKC, The Collective Food Hall and The Hall’s Pizza Kitchen.
  • Complimentary Florals: Free to the first 500 guests, with additional arrangements available for purchase from Curbside Flowers.
  • Typewriter Poetry: On-demand poetry provided by Art Moves.
  • Pet Adoption Event: Find your next fur baby at Ambassador Hotel + 405 Rescue pet adoption event.
