Enhancements come as the resort prepares for peak summer visitation

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (JUNE 23, 2026) OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark has announced a new partnership with Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) aimed at enhancing the visibility of safety measures throughout its indoor waterpark.

As part of the collaboration, TFCU branding will be integrated into key safety touchpoints throughout the resort’s 100,000-square-foot indoor waterpark, including life vests and lifeguard uniforms—elements guests regularly rely on during their visit. The effort is designed to create a more consistent and recognizable safety presence for families navigating the waterpark.

The partnership builds on OKANA’s existing safety protocols by reinforcing awareness in high-traffic, high-engagement areas where guests make frequent safety-related decisions, such as selecting flotation devices or locating lifeguards.

“Safety isn’t something guests think about just once—it’s something they experience throughout their visit,” OKANA Director of Partnerships Natalia Arbelaez said. “By bringing consistency to these key touchpoints, this partnership helps create a more seamless and reassuring environment for families.”

In addition to on-site integrations, the partnership will include a guest-facing giveaway activation at the indoor waterpark entrance, offering visitors an added point of engagement at the start of their experience.

For TFCU, the partnership reflects a continued investment in supporting Oklahoma families and community-focused experiences.

“We deeply value our partnership with OKANA,” said Nicole Emmons, SVP of Marketing for Tinker Federal Credit Union. “Our sponsorship represents an extension of our long-standing commitment to the wellbeing of the communities we serve—in this instance not just their financial wellbeing, but also their physical health and safety. In supporting a secure and enjoyable experience for families, we hope to make a positive impact both inside and outside the waterpark.”

The partnership brings together two Oklahoma-based organizations and expands TFCU’s presence within one of the state’s newest tourism destinations.
