United Airlines has announced that Will Rogers World Airport will be among the first cities to experience the carrier’s revolutionary CRJ 550.  Beginning October 27, 2019, United begins offering the new service from WRWA to Chicago O’Hare.

The new aircraft being introduced by United and regional United Express Partner, GoJet, is a one-of-a-kind regional jet.  The Bombardier CRJ 550 is the world’s first 50-seat regional aircraft that has a larger airframe to accommodate true-first-class seating. Other premium amenities include:

  • Space for every customer to bring a roller bag on board.
  • A self-serve refreshment center for United First customers featuring a wide assortment of snacks and beverages.
  • More overall legroom per seat than any other 50-seat aircraft flown by a U.S. airline.
  • The ability to stay connected while in flight with United Wi-Fi.

Tickets will be available for purchase starting Saturday, October 12, and may be booked through united.com.  This service complements United’s existing service from Oklahoma City to its hubs in Chicago, Denver, Houston, New York/Newark, San Francisco and Washington Dulles.
