A Night of Nostalgia, Creativity, and Heartfelt Tributes to One of the Most Beloved Indie Soundtracks of the 2000s.
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - Local music fans and Juno movie fans alike are in for a treat as Keathley, The Ugly Cowboys, The Best of Ronnie & Delta, Jarvix, and BertaB take the Factory Obscura Wonder Stage on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025 at 8:00 PM for UNCOVERED: Covers with a Twist. Each artist will put their own spin on the iconic songs from The Juno Movie Soundtrack, including songs by The Moldy Peaches, Belle and Sebastian, Buddy Holly, Kimya Dawson, Cat Power, Sonic Youth, and more! That’s just the start. Every band will also perform an original song they believe belongs on the Juno tracklist, plus one faithful cover from the soundtrack that sticks to the spirit of the original.
This highly anticipated show comes after a strong audience response from Factory Obscura’s UNCOVERED showcase last March, featuring reimagined System of a Down covers performed by stepmom, Computer Girl, Em and the Mother Superiors, Compost Adjacent, and Nia Moné.
This time around, local favorites Keathley (also known as Keathley and the Burning Bras) will bring their signature gritty punk energy infused with moody Midwestern melodies. Rising stars The Ugly Cowboys are making waves in the Oklahoma music scene with their raucous punkabilly sound. The newly announced duo The Best of Ronnie and Delta, a classic country-inspired alter-ego project from OKC music veterans Lindsey Cox (of stepmom) and Bradley Morris (of Blue Morrison), will also take the stage. Multi-talented artist Jarvix, known as OKC’s local music archivist with Make Oklahoma Weirder, Weirder Wednesday host, Factory Obscura Open Mic Night emcee, and eclectic loop station performer, joins the lineup as well. Rounding out the bill is breakout soul, R&B, and folk artist BertaB, bringing rich vocals and heartfelt lyricism to the event.
“It’s been a long-time dream to honor the Juno Soundtrack in this way,” said Factory Obscura Talent Booker and performer Lindsey Cox. “I think these UNCOVERED showcases offer something really special for the city. It’s a way to introduce local bands to folks who may come because they love Juno, but leave with a new appreciation for our vibrant music scene. For those who are already familiar with the local bands, it’s a unique opportunity to see them perform in a way they haven’t before.”
