Oklahoma City, OK – In the midst of their 20th anniversary celebration, Paycom Center announces a new partnership with Oklahoma Blood Institute to be the site of their 2022 Boots & Badges Blood Drive. One of OBI’s largest annual drives, the event is hosted by Oklahoma City Police and Fire Departments and will take place on Saturday, July 23 from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm.

“Paycom Center has been a staple in Oklahoma City for 20 years,” said General Manager Chris Semrau. “With our anniversary celebration, we’re honored to join forces with OBI to support our community. We’re hoping to make this OBI’s biggest donation drive yet.”

All donors participating at this drive will receive their choice of one admission ticket to either Frontier City, Science Museum of Oklahoma, or Safari Joe’s H2O Water Park, as well as a Boots & Badges t-shirt, and free food provided by the Oklahoma Pork Council. On site throughout the family-friendly event will be members from OKC Police Department and Fire Department, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, and other first responders as well as various emergency response vehicles.

A strong and healthy blood supply is a critical part of a healthy health care system. Blood donors are needed now to ensure blood is available for those who need it. Ongoing pandemic concerns continue to impact blood supply. Donors can give blood every 56 days and are encouraged to make regular donation appointments.

Walk-ins will be accepted at the Drive, but pre-scheduled appointments are preferred. To make an appointment for the Boots & Badges Blood Drive, visit https://www.yourbloodinstitute.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/371100.
