A Nederlander and Civic Center Foundation Presentation is delighted to announce its 2020 - 2021 Season lineup.  Oklahoma City theatre-goers at the Civic Center Music Hall will experience a season unlike any other when OKC Broadway hosts the National Tour Launch of last years Tony® Award-winning Best Revival of a Musical and presents shows including the 2017 Winner of 6 Tony® Awards including Best Musical and two weeks of Disneys newest theatrical smash hit.  Plus – four more hits direct from Broadway and one of the most family favorite events that is back with an amazing new tour!

 

The 2020-2021 Season begins with MEAN GIRLS, the hilarious hit musical direct from Broadway with the award-winning creative team, and continues with the National Tour Launch of the musical revival EVERYONE is talking about, OKLAHOMA!  The acclaimed new production straight from Lincoln Center Theatre of Lerner & Lowes MY FAIR LADY is next followed by DEAR EVAN HANSEN, the theatrical phenomenon that has taken not only Broadway and the entire country, but the world, by storm.  Disney Theatrical Productions is legendary for bringing the most spectacular, heartwarming productions to the stage, and joining us in the 2020-21 Season is their newest Broadway smash FROZEN. The spring will bring PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL, brought to life by a powerhouse creative team representing the best of music, Hollywood, and Broadway.   Back in OKC by popular demand is the Broadway sensation WICKED to complete the Season Subscription package.  An all-new tour of BLUE MAN GROUP will come to the Civic Center in November and can be added to any season ticket package!

 

The 2020 - 21 Season is unprecedented.  There is no other word for it. Not only are OKC Broadway and the Civic Center Music Hall honored to launch the National Tour of the Tony® Award-winning OKLAHOMA!, but this seasons shows are all either currently playing on Broadway or have just closed within the last year—which speaks directly to our mission to bring the very best of Broadway to the Civic Center Music Hall and OKC patrons as soon as possible,” said Elizabeth Gray, Executive Director of the Civic Center Foundation and General Manager of OKC Broadway. 

 

OKC Broadway is the presenter of the nationally touring Broadway shows and is a partnership between the Nederlander Organization, known for presenting live theatre and concerts world-wide; and the Civic Center Foundation, who in its 19-year history has donated millions to the Civic Center Music Hall for improvements to heighten the performance experience for both performers and audiences. The 6-Show 2020-2021 Season Ticket Package includes MEAN GIRLS, Rodgers & Hammersteins OKLAHOMA!, MY FAIR LADY, DEAR EVAN HANSEN, Disneys FROZEN, PRETTY WOMAN: The Musical, and WICKED . BLUE MAN GROUP is an added special production and may be added on to a season ticket package.
