Due to the extreme cold weather, the Zoo will be closed to the public until Thursday, February 18

The Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden announces that it will be closed to the public now through Wednesday, February 17, 2021. The Zoo’s winter schedule already restricts public access on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but this closure is now extended through the next week. Starting Thursday, February 18, the Zoo will reopen to the public Thursdays through Mondays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

By closing the Zoo’s guest-facing operations for the next week, the Zoo is able to reduce operation expenses while still providing superior care for the 1,200 animals that call the Zoo home. The Zoo will continue to engage fans with multiple photos and videos posted daily on its social media platforms, including TikTok!

Advance tickets are required for all guests and ZOOfriends members and can be purchased at http://www.okczoo.org/tickets.  Zoo tickets are limited each day to maintain social distancing among guests. Located at the crossroads of I-44 and I-35, the OKC Zoo is a proud member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, the American Alliance of Museums, Oklahoma City’s Adventure District and an Adventure Road partner. Regular admission is $12 for adults and $9 for children ages 3-11 and seniors ages 65 and over. Children two and under are admitted free.
