With this spring-like weather and the warm temperatures forecasted for next week, the Oklahoma City Zoo is ending its winter hours early and as of today, Wednesday, January 31, the Zoo will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily with the last entry no later than 4 p.m. Wildlife enthusiasts looking for a nature break are encouraged to come out and explore the Zoo. Take time to see some of the Zoo’s growing youngsters including chimpanzee, Kiazi (1), Asian elephant, Rama (2), and newest arrivals, six African painted dog puppies. Zoo goers will also discover Scooter Pals, the Zoo’s fun new mobile experience and way to navigate around the grounds. Scooter Pals are located in the main entry area. Make it a full Zoo day and pack a picnic lunch to enjoy in the park as guests are welcome to bring their own food and drink into the Zoo. Select Zoo concessions will be open during regular hours, offering limited menu items. Guests can purchase advance Zoo admission at okczoo.org/tickets to bypass the entry lines.
