All healthcare professionals, emergency responders receive free general Zoo admission during the months of February and March.

From Thursday, February 3 through Thursday, March 31, 2022, the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden is honoring all healthcare workers and emergency responders with free general Zoo admission in recognition of Healthcare Workers and Emergency Responders Appreciation Month. It is the incredible dedication of these caregivers working tirelessly to keep us healthy and safe during this public health crisis and, to give back to them, the Zoo is offering these frontline heroes free general admission in February and March. The OKC Zoo is also providing 50% off of general admission for up to four immediate family members of qualifying individuals on date of visit. Healthcare workers and emergency responders must present a valid work ID or badge at the Zoo’s ticket window upon arrival to receive complimentary admission for themselves and discounts for up to four accompanying guests. Advance reservations are not required. This offer cannot be combined with any other discount on general admission.

Healthcare workers and emergency responders will enjoy additional discounts while at the Zoo when they show proof of a valid work ID or badge including 10% off concessions at the Zoo’s restaurants and cafés, 10% off merchandise at the Zoo’s Safari Gift Shop and $10 off the purchase of any ZOOfriends membership level, new or renewal. The healthcare professional or emergency responder must be named on the membership. Memberships must be purchased in-person at the ZOOfriends membership office located in the Zoo’s entry plaza.

OKC Zoo thanks all healthcare workers and emergency responders for their commitment to caring for others. The Oklahoma City Zoo is in its winter hours and open Thursdays through Mondays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily with the last entry no later than 4 p.m. The park is closed to the public on Tuesdays and Wednesdays through Wednesday, February 9.
