The Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden announces the return of the 15th annual  ZOObrew, its popular outdoor beer tasting festival, occurring Friday, September 29, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the OKC Zoo. ZOObrew, presented by Byron’s Liquor Warehouse, provides the perfect setting for craft beer connoisseurs, 21 and older, to enjoy unlimited samplings of specialty brews from over 40 Oklahoma and national breweries as well as other libations–wine, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages–while discovering the majority of the OKC Zoo after hours.

ZOObrew brings the fun, good vibes and brews! Revelers will enjoy connecting with loved ones and friends as they sample a variety of ales and experience unique Zoo attractions like the Endangered Species Carousel, Giraffe feeding ($5 per person) and lawn games throughout the evening. ZOObrew goers will also get a first-look at the Zoo’s newest, largest habitat expansion Expedition Africa and the opportunity to see select African wildlife like never before. Throughout the evening, pair your delicious beverages with some flavorful bites. A variety of tasty eats (and some sweets!) will be available for purchase from local food truck vendors including Let’s Do Greek, Yum Pig, OhMyGogi, Some Like It Tot, The Fried Taco, Blue J’s Rollin’ Grill and Split Top Dogs. Favorite Zoo concessions the Canopy Restaurant, Best of Oklahoma, Mas Tacos and Safari Café will be open, offering select menu items available for purchase. There will also be a silent auction providing an opportunity for participants to bid on one-of-a-kind items and experiences with proceeds supporting the OKC Zoo, its programs and conservation initiatives.

Tickets are now on sale for ZOObrew at www.okczoo.org/zoobrew. General admission is $70 per person and includes unlimited beer samplings as well as access to the Zoo’s carousel. Designated driver general admission is $20 per person. ZOObrew is an event with a purpose and a portion of proceeds will go to support giraffe conservation. 2023 PREbrew tickets are sold out.
